My two Havanese just love to visit Danielle and Jessica for their baths and trims. I love taking them because they come home so happy and beautiful, and tired from playing in the free roaming environment. Being a Golden Retriever, Eddie Spaghetti has been to his fair share of groomers...I mean, A LOT of groomers. I am pleased to say we’ve found our last one! Apart from the reasonable prices, Danielle is the most talented groomer Eddie and I have been to yet; she is the epitome of ‘dog whisperer’. Her gentle touch, and attention to detail is nothing short of impressive. We will be lifelong customers of the Dog Shop.A. Behrendt
Sharissa D.I've taken my Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix here a few times now and he always come back snowy white and smelling good! I love the feel of the place - it's always full of happy dogs just running around playing with each other. From time to time I see a dog in the back who is segregated but I can tell they are aggressive and that's why they're separated. Everyone who works here is so nice and they always seem to remember my dog and comment on his changing coat each time. He's always happy when we comes out of The Dog Shop and he's a champion moper with a serious sad face when he feels like it so if he was upset about the experience -we'd be able to tell. I once took my dog to another groomer and I'm still traumatized by the experience. We've since moved into Lake Oswego and will still be going to the Dog Shop - that's how awesome they are!
Amber R.I took our new puppy to The Dog Shop for her first nail clipping experience for a couple of reasons. First being, their location is super convenient for me. Second, I had talked with one of the owners about my pups first clipping and I appreciated all of their insights. I'm not going to lie though, I was still so nervous. My previous dog (who has since passed away) was terrified to have his nails clipped. I'm sure that was in part of the bad experiences he'd had early on. I didn't want that to be the case for my puppy. I wanted her to have a good experience from the get go so I was so worried that she would have a bad experience. Like, what if they accidentally cut to close to the quick (her nails are black)...etc... This was not the case though! The ladies (Jessica and Danielle) were AMAZING! They were quick and my puppy was comforted and cared for the whole time. Not a peep of distress from her. I will be bringing our pup back to them in a couple of weeks for her first bath experience which I'm hoping goes just as well.
Jasmine G.I've gone here for years with both my golden retriever and husky. Each time they really take their time to make sure we are satisfied while still loving each pet. I've taken both my dogs in for both a nail dremel and full groom. If there's anything you may want to be touched up they will do touch ups until you're 100% satisfied. Another thing I really appreciate is that when my dog gets a bath here they use quality products that leave my dog smelling fresh but not the products that have lots of perfume in them. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
