We have been taking our Mini Aussie and Yellow lab here for a couple of years. Every time they do not disappoint. The staff is friendly, They let the majority of the dogs walk around, and our Pups are also so perfectly cut when we pick them up! We added our 1-year-old corgi to the mix today and they were able to schedule all three dogs together and finish in a couple of hours. I would recommend this groomer to anyone!

I’ve gone here for years with both my golden retriever and husky. Each time they really take their time to make sure we are satisfied while still loving each pet. I’ve taken both my dogs in for both a nail dremel and full groom. If there’s anything you may want to be touched up they will do touch ups until you’re 100% satisfied. Another thing I really appreciate is that when my dog gets a bath here they use quality products that leave my dog smelling fresh but not the products that have lots of perfume in them. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Took my two chihuahuas as walk-ins for nail trims and they were in and out in 10min! Great staff, cute dogs everywhere to greet you!!

We have been bringing our golden retriever Ellie here for years.  She came from an abusive situation and the ladies at the Dog Shop take the time to ensure that she is comfortable and that it is a fun experience for Ellie.  Ellie actually gets excited about going to the Dog Shop.  She loves the interaction with the other dogs, especially Huckleberry.  They do an awesome job grooming her.  Always professional and friendly service!

I brought my dog, Boopsie, into The Dog Shop for a grooming session a few weeks ago and was very impressed with their work. I walked in with a shaggy dog that had not been groomed in months, and what I got back was a sweet smelling good looking and happy but sleepy pup. She was able to play and socialize with the other dogs in the free-roaming facility for several hours before she was groomed which was a big plus for me. It meant I didn’t have to take her out for a walk when I got home!

The facility itself was clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. I was served promptly and the groomer consulted with me on my grooming preferences for Boopsie since it was our first time in. It’s easy to see why they have so many loyal customers because they did a great job! I got a precious little teddy bear back when they were done and I was so pleased with their work that I went ahead and made a future grooming appointment before I left. The groomer, Jess, recommended I do since they book many weeks out.  Another added convenience is the fact that there’s a pet store right next door to The Dog Shop which meant I was able to pick up some last minute items before I got Boopsie.

We are looking forward to our next appointment, and highly recommend The Dog Shop for dog owners who want quality grooming at reasonable rates.

We have been bringing our golden doodle to The Dog Shop for several years now.  Our experience every time has been nothing but THE BEST!   We have several friends who bring their dogs here as well and everyone is truly happy!  Our dog is happy here and enjoys her play time with the other dogs.  She looks amazing after each visit!  I was sorry to read some of the other reviews because we feel our dog is well taken care of and the staff is kind, courteous and very knowledgable.   We would much rather have our dog interacting with other dogs than have her stuffed in a kennel.

I’ve taken my Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix here a few times now and he always come back snowy white and smelling good! I love the feel of the place – it’s always full of happy dogs just running around playing with each other. From time to time I see a dog in the back who is segregated but I can tell they are aggressive and that’s why they’re separated.

Everyone who works here is so nice and they always seem to remember my dog and comment on his changing coat each time. He’s always happy when we comes out of The Dog Shop and he’s a champion moper with a serious sad face when he feels like it so if he was upset about the experience -we’d be able to tell.

I once took my dog to another groomer and I’m still traumatized by the experience. We’ve since moved into Lake Oswego and will still be going to the Dog Shop – that’s how awesome they are!

I took our new puppy to The Dog Shop for her first nail clipping experience for a couple of reasons.  First being, their location is super convenient for me.  Second, I had talked with one of the owners about my pups first clipping and I appreciated all of their insights.

I’m not going to lie though, I was still so nervous.  My previous dog (who has since passed away) was terrified to have his nails clipped.  I’m sure that was in part of the bad experiences he’d had early on.  I didn’t want that to be the case for my puppy.  I wanted her to have a good experience from the get go so I was so worried that she would have a bad experience.  Like, what if they accidentally cut to close to the quick (her nails are black)…etc…

This was not the case though! The ladies (Jessica and Danielle) were AMAZING! They were quick and my puppy was comforted and cared for the whole time.  Not a peep of distress from her.

I will be bringing our pup back to them in a couple of weeks for her first bath experience which I’m hoping goes just as well.

I have been to numerous groomers and this shop is the best!  My dog had a great time there, came away looking great, and all at a reasonable price.  I highly recommend The Dog Shop!

By far the best groomers we have ever found! Our Airedale Booker has been groomed there several times now and looks better than ever. Previous groomers shaved him which led to skin irritations. Now, his skin is a good as ever! Booker is happy from the moment he arrives and enjoys playing with the other dogs. We take our Corgi Parker in for nail trims – something Corgis generally don’t like. The girls have the magic touch because Parker puts up very little fuss, amazing! So very glad we found this local gem!

This shop was amazing!!  We have only taken our Samoyed to one other place and we were not pleased with the results.  Nor have we had success with a previous Golden Retriever.  Needless to say we are very picky where we take our dogs.  I love the open environment, you get to see exactly what is going on!  It is wonderful that they let the dogs just hang out in the shop and not in cages (I mean grooming is scary enough for our Samoyed and then throwing him in a cage wont really help).  I also had a great feeling that they knew exactly what to expect with each dog.  Their prices were better then we were expect since our Samoyed needed a lot of help!  In the end our dogs came out of the shop happy and beautiful (seriously I could stop petting them).

4 Paws up!  They do a great job within a reasonable time at a fair price.  And, my dogs leave as happy as they arrived.  Less stress for the dogs!  But don’t tell everyone!  We don’t want them to get too busy!

Our experience with the dog shop was great! Our dog was in great condition when we picked her up. She had a very thick coat when we took her in, and she was shedding a lot! When we picked her up, her coat was shiny and beautiful! All of the brushing that they did decreased the shedding tremendously. It was probably the best grooming our dog has ever received. When we came to pick her up, she was relaxed and not nervous. The groomer came and talked to us personally about how the grooming went. They also squeezed our dog into their tight holiday schedule. The price was less than we had paid at some of the “big box” places. We will definitely use them again.

I called ahead of time for the appointment.  They were recommended to me by my vet.  It was extremely conveniently located.  There is a big room they do the work in, but the dogs are allowed to play in that room as well.  No cages.  It is very clean and doesn’t smell.

I had my dog groomed recently by Jessica who did an excellent job on my Yorkie. She really listened to what I wanted him to look like, especially since I had a horrible experience at [a different grooming shop]. I would definitely recommend anyone to take their dog to be groomed at The Dog Shop.

This place is a diamond in the ruff! After my old groomer moved too far away, I came to the conclusion that it isn’t easy to find a dog groomer you can trust.

It’s very important to me to find a groomer to treat my little guy like the member of the family he is. After a couple bad experiences, I came across The Dog Shop flyer while hangin’ with my pup at The Dakota Memorial Off-Leash Dog Park.

I checked them out online and discovered that though Jessica and Danielle have a ton of grooming experience, this small business had only been open a month. I decided that it was time to give them a try (my little guy was in major need of a summer cut).  When I called to make the appointment, I was able to bring him in the same day.

When we arrived it was a clean, and friendly environment. I love the fact that the dogs can roam freely (but safely) while they are there. Non of the dogs seemed to be stressed out at all. My guy was a little apprehensive to go back at first, but when he saw the other pups hangin’ out, he got excited.

I picked him up about three hours later, and he was just laying on the floor observing what was going on. He was excited to see me, but didn’t have the distressed “SAVE ME” look I’ve seen before. His cut looked great, and was a VERY reasonable price for the stress free service provided.

Jessica and Danielle are great!!   I will recommend them to anyone looking for a better groomer.  So happy you two opened this shop up!!!

A few of weeks ago I was out to grab some dog food from my favorite shop to do so, Natural Pet NW. I noticed that a dog grooming shop was going to be opening up right next door so I figured I’d take my dog, Geordi, in to get groomed because he was getting scruffy, maybe even mangy! OK not mangy, but he needed a hair cut so bad. I got the information for the shop and booked an appointment for today and took Geordi over for his grooming. There were two groomers on duty, Danielle and Jessica, they were super friendly and personable. We chatted with them for a bit and we found out they’d been working together for years and it definitely shows. They let the dogs run free around the shop which is very different from what I am used to. It is secure so the dogs can’t run away but the dogs can hang out and they weren’t restricted to kennels. They do have kennels available for dogs that need them or owners that prefer them though. My previous groomer had just used kennels and I never felt quite right about it. I always felt rushed to come get Geordi so he wasn’t stuck in a kennel.

Danielle was the groomer who groomed our dog. To be honest I didn’t know that our dog could get any more adorable and handsome! I never know the way to describe how to groom Geordi using proper terminology but Danielle was very intuitive and knowledgeable and patiently helped figure out the mental image I was trying to extract from my mind. She did an wonderful and amazing job! I can’t say it enough! Also Geordi didn’t seem stressed out from the experience whatsoever. She was even very understanding and forgiving of the fact that Geordi had more than the average number of accidents while at the shop. The price was also very reasonable especially for the quality of the work done.

I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a groomer or if you’re not completely satisfied with your current one (like me). I’ll definitely be taking Geordi back as needed. Did I mention they even had out some free donuts for customers? I’m not too proud to eat a donut, especially a free one!

Jessica and Danielle…The best groomers I have ever had the the pleasure to meet! Never before have I met two owners with the desire to love and care for all animals. Just being in their presence brings a warm smile to my face. For several years I have brought my two dogs for grooming and washing and have always been met with the greatest attitude of care, professionalism and respect.

Words just can not state the amount of integrity and fortitude the owners of this new business have exhibited on a daily basis. When you speak of being the best and receiving the best care for your pets then I would highly recommend bringing your pets, both large and small to leave them in their care.

They are the best at what they do and that is…”loving, caring for and grooming your pets.” Only once in a lifetime would you ever find owners who have a deep dedication towards your pet. It warms my heart to know I have found them!

Being a Golden Retriever, Eddie Spaghetti has been to his fair share of groomers…I mean, A LOT of groomers. I am pleased to say we’ve found our last one! Apart from the reasonable prices, Danielle is the most talented groomer Eddie and I have been to yet; she is the epitome of ‘dog whisperer’. Her gentle touch, and attention to detail is nothing short of impressive. We will be lifelong customers of the Dog Shop.

Jessica has been grooming our three-year old Wheaten Terrier Teddy since she was a pup. People regularly stop us to compliment us on how beautifully groomed and cut Teddy is and we are always quick to give the credit to Jessica.

Our experienced dog owner friends had cautioned that the most important characteristic in a groomer is a kind and patient hand so the dog is never fearful of the groomer or the surroundings. Teddy is always pleased to greet Jessica and eager to go into the grooming area. So we get a happy, clean and beautifully cut dog and a dependable and trustworthy groomer with excellent communication skills (canine and human!) and very satisfying customer service.

We wouldn’t think of taking Teddy to anyone but Jessica.

My two Havanese just love to visit Danielle and Jessica for their baths and trims. I love taking them because they come home so happy and beautiful, and tired from playing in the free roaming environment. Best of all Danielle and Jessica never make me feel bad if the girls are bit tangled!
